About being, infinity and knowing…

 

My artworks use digital techniques to explore the energy at the intersection of nature and science.

 

Using computer software which harnesses the infinitely self-similar repetitions of fractal geometry elemental to nature, enables me to generate and manipulate patterns to investigate the similarities and differences which connect all living things.

 

What at first glance are seen to be fundamental incompatibilities between life forms, are revealed on closer inspection to have physical and metaphysical connections which pulse with life. Their energy expands into the infinite, commingles and becomes one to create a universal state of being.

 

These works are an attempt to capture this energy and reveal the beauty of the connections that are between all things.
